Hey, there. I’m Val.

 

 
 

Val specializes in branding and communications across various mediums and industries—including fashion, lifestyle, beauty, wellness hospitality, and tech. With close to a decade of experience, she was groomed by both traditional and digitally-focused agencies and developed a 360 approach to building brands and launching campaigns. 

Prior to consulting, Val spent three years in house at Nasty Gal where she developed the brand communications department overseeing day to day operations and product launches. She built a talent relations division responsible for product placement which delivered the brand’s eponymous label to a mainstream, global audience.

Additionally, Val was instrumental in the launch and marketing campaign of the #GIRLBOSS book, which became a global movement and today holds over 14 million trending posts on social media. Overseeing the book’s product placement among influencers, tastemakers and VIPs building an enormous social momentum for the book prior to its release and creating a pre-order list well into the thousands.  

Val’s background also includes work with international agencies where she has defined launch strategies for global brand launches.

Currently, Val services a wide range of clients across various marketing synergies inclusive of branding & positioning, editorial and social media development, influencer marketing, media & comms strategy, strategic partnerships and experiential production. 

Val splits her time between Los Angeles and Europe servicing clientele internationally.
